Hello everyone,

In my findings for the discography, I found that Bernard Sumner did some vocals for the Seb Fontaine album Cream Resident.. anyone can tell me which song? (do you actually have it? I'd like to sample it for the site)

And other weird discovery, everyone should know the "Crystal" background, it's a song from Bernard which he gave to a german label "MFS/Flesh", and then some versions were produced by DJ Corvin Dalek, they finally decided to keep the track to make it for New Order, etc.

I found a compilation called "Trance Extasy 2002" which features the infamous "Pornoclub mix" of Crystal by Corvin Dalek, but there is ANOTHER ONE, which I've never seen before..

1. CYBERSECRECY feat. BERNARD SUMNER - Crystal - Indestructable Radio Mix 3:55Written by Mike Bülow & Bernard Sumner. Produced and mixed by Cybersecrecy.Vocals by Bernard Sumner. Published by MFS2 admin. by BMG/UFA &Vitalturn/Warner Chappell. P+C 2001 MFS.Licensed from MFS, Berlin - Germany.www.mfs-berlin.de

What the hell is this. Check the URL yourself: http://www.nextera.cz/nosice/2018.html

Also, a Crystal 12" is supposed to exist, from Corvin Dalek.. Face A is the Siliconsex Mix of Crystal, and the Face B is the Pornoclub Mix of Crystal.

I know Bernard played guitar on Primal Scream's XTRMNTR, on all the tracks?

Also, it's pretty complicated to decypher which songs were produced or remixed by Bernard Sumner from Section 25..!

Hum, seems a bit longer that the album version, not much, but different.. probably a mixed album?

I might have to read the whole thing actually :(

P/S: I've read, it's the Sasha mix..

I've checked.. same label.. so it's another track using the same vox ;)

Since I know you are a collector, the record can be bought here...

Unfortunatly, the samples don't work..

P/S: I found some samples, they are online now.. unfortunatly they are not as good as the other one, we don't know if the lyrics are complete or not!

I recently saw a Dave Dresden mix CD with his mix of Someone Like You on it...the disc was called Progressive something or other...already in the used bins...

...despite the fact that some undiscovered vocal lines can be found, there are some more uninspired and useless remixes... :(

Nope. Just the last track, "Shoot Speed/Kill Light".

This Section 25 Discography will clarify things for you: http://www.ausoug.org.au/working/dennis/factory/sect25.html

Barney hides his identity under the moniker Be Music. Interestingly, Hooky also uses this moniker when producing Stockholm Monsters and Be Music was the name New Order released the song "Theme (Homage to MGM)" on the album "The Quick Neat Job" as well.
