Was does Bernard exactly do in the Banderas Ripe album?

Does he sing and play guitar on ALL tracks?

I have the track This is Your Life on a promo compilation but there's no credits listed. As I recall, Bernard produced and mixed only the TIYL single. I remember him saying in an interview that he thought up some great guitar parts but had to get Johnny Marr to play them because they were too difficult!

My brother has the record and I remember from reading from the sleeve, that on TIYL Bernard plays both (some of the) guitars (with Johhny Marr, who also appears on some other tracks) and sings backing vocals. I actually listened to the track very carefully and I think in some parts you could hear Bernard's voice.

I also clearly remember that sticker claiming Bernard played guitar and sang backing vocals on that.

According to Waterrat's page:

[ BANDERAS ]

1991 Ripe CD (sb) 47 Includes This Is Your Life with Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr on Guitars. Bernard Sumner also does a backing vocal on the track.

Yes,..just checked the inner sleeve of my CD....it has Bernard Sumner on guitar/backing vocals on Track 1 - TIYL.

The connection must have been J. Marr and Stephen Hague whom the Banderas thanked on the credits.

They thanked a CHRIS NASH too....a fellow NOOL?
