Retro tracks remastered?

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere, but can anyone who has Retro tell us whether the tracks have been remastered - how do they sound?

Played discs 1-3 in the car today.........and they do sound louder ( or cleaner , or clearer :scratch: ) than the other versions i have.

Definetly a cleaner sound, especially on true faith.

Well, to quote from the booklet:
