yes it´s true, there are two other singles. one is a trancier cybersecrecy version, as well as the deep-schranz-techno version by flatner& ingram project (sorry, but the f&i 12" version was a ltd to 1000 copies and is no longer available) both were released on mfs.

corvin´s versions are originally released on flesh. you can download the label image from his website www.corvindalek.com the pornoclub version is also included on the flesh compilation "hotkunst" and was released in czech republic on the next era compilation, trance extasy 2002.

there´s also a remix of corvins version available. it´s included on the kama arts "feel" compilation (mfs) which was remixed by hustler&stossdaempfer (the donner & sumner remix) this interesting comp album - mixed by kama arts (aka eiven "mohdj" major) - is a collection of tracks that all have the "i feel love" bassline in them (includes donner summer, underworld, sven vaeth, bt, pascal feos etc)

the corvin dalek and cybersecrecy 12" versions are still currently available on vinyl, as are the compilations. usually through intergroove.

Hey, I was checking the bio, it has another collaboration listed..!

Reformed the group (4 members) and renamed the band to Shark Vegas (1983-1986). Released on factory records the single: You Hurt Me (produced by New Order's Bernard Sumner). We played all over Europe (as well as the Eastern Block) and toured with New Order, Malaria! et al.

From the bio...

"As I knew New Order and I knew Bernard was a synth fan, I managed to indoctrinate Bernard Sumner with this electronic disco sound, thus the electronic disco side of New Order was born (but that's his story though)."

And well, no surprise Barney give him Crystal ;)

Mark Reeder & MFS - a historical portrait

Germany calling

After studying and working briefly in the world of advertising, Mancunian born, Mark Reeder decided that his passion for music was much greater than his desire to be a graphic designer and he took up a position at Manchesters leading independant record store Virgin Records, where he´d worked as a part-timer since he was 14. His input and enthusiasm towards the development of the punk scene in Manchester, can only be measured with the success of the genre in the Manchester area, as Virgin was the only shop selling this particular style of music at that time. In the late 70´s, following a short stint as founding member of The Frantic Elevators (together with Moey Moss and Mick Hucknall, where he played bass guitar) Mark decided to leave and live in Germany, as his passion for German electronic music, especially Giorgio Moroder´s disco sound, had found him at odds with the rest of the band. Once established, he was asked to become Factory Records German representative (1978 ­ 1983) by his Factory friend and Joy Division manager, Rob Gretton.

Mark emmersed himself in the Berlin new-wave clubscene. His first requested performance in Berlin was as a gesture of thanks, friendship and solidarity at the mammoth 3 day closing party for the punk-mecca “Excess³ in December 1980, where he performed together with Human Leagues Adrian Wright and Thomas Wydler, a dreadful punk misch-mash of James Bond songs and swearing to a bemused audience.

It was also during this early eighties period, with his own firey enthusiasm for electronic disco-music, that he indirectly influenced the then fledgeling New Orders change in musical direction, from a depressed new wave band, suffering in the shadows of their former identity of Joy Division, into becoming the UK´s first true Electronic Dance group.
