The photographer is Philippe Carly; some of his photos are used in the 'Ideal For Living' book. He is easily the equal of Kevin Cummins, imho (and no, I have no relation with him whatsoever).

On the site you can watch what seems like entire film rolls taken at the two Plan K shows (JD '79 & '80), Rotterdam '80, Heaven '81, Brussels '81, Leuven & Brussels '82. Each gig has a separate page with thumbnails, which lead to high quality scans of each photo. Great stuff... don't miss it!

note to the webmaster: the JD/NO pages definitely belong in the links section of the site, if I may say so (even if it qualifies as a commercial site, as you can buy prints of the photos).

... and one of his photos has been used in Mick Middles' "From Joy Division To New Order" with credits to... Kevin Cummins!

thanks! with all those good close up pics of barney...i didn't realize how young he looked...almost like a teenager in those pics.

Well, thanks for the link.. it's just very very fun that those are 2 concerts we didn't have a pic for.. so they'll be here as well, with proper credits..

Is there a better place that here to help him sell reprints? :confused:
