New Order has released Blue Monday 3 times, Confusion 4 times, True Faith almost did it a 3rd time (remixes are done, but not released)...

Which song would you like to see re-released in 2003 as a teaser while waiting for the album?

Temptation? BLT? EGG? Ceremony?

Which song would benifit of Today's technology to be enhanced into something better than the original?

NONE!

Let's have some more new bloody songs! New Order can't keep getting away with (letting the record label) reissuing their entire back catalogue constantly.

What the hell are they doing? They're in the studio - they had better be getting on with that next album then!

how about Shellshock. can't hurt it much. God, listening to how Shellshock was mixed, the original could clear a dancefloor in 7 seconds.

or how about Bizarre Love Triangle. give it an emphasis on breakbeats

as far as new songs... they are freakin' in their mid-forties.... if they can manage any more decent songs after this, its a bonus

They need to release something NEW. If Blue Monday, Confusion, and Temptation didn't swing people the first 2-3 times, they won't the next time.

Lonesome Tonight re-recorded, with Too Late on the B side.

i would like to see "ceremony" re-released; the end of joy division and the start of newOrder.

"Thieves Like Us", a song often overlooked by remixers. The "stolen mix" is a welcomed exception. Despite being great it's just a fan mix, made exclusively for this website I guess.

Might only be a fan mix, but it's done with Acid Planet, it prooves you can do very good things with that software...!

i'd like to see Procession done again myself

How 'bout a New Order take on LWTUA or some other classic JD track? sort of a dancey reinterpretation....

The Advent already had a go.

how about Vanishing Point? i know it wasn't a single (well, it nearly was), but the story surrounding it would make it a good choice.

or else EGG.

Procession would be great, as well as Thieves Like Us and Perfect Kiss... and Truth !

I always liked Truth. That's deep NewOrder.

I'd go for Thieves Like Us as well. :)

Thieves like us, to choose a single, and Vanishing Point/Dream Attack 03' (double A-side with videos and all that stuff!!!). I'm a bit tired of reissues, but it would be great...

Spotnick, NewOrder only released Confusion ONCE. All the others are the work of other people (i.e. Arthur Baker...)

Well, there must have been some cooperation on the 2002 remixes since they make such a big deal about "Bernard's NEW vocal." Or perhaps that refers to the 1987 vocal.

That's exactly the point..they should release new material while they can, they won't get any younger. Perhaps a version of a very old song, which wasn't a single before (like the New Dawn Fades they did with Moby), but the release should definitely include some new material.
