Nicolas, we would love to release this material, but the management have not granted us any permission to do so. I imagine the band are busy on their new album.

We will continue to suggest the idea to all concerned.

:skeptic:

Now we'll see what the band management has to say about that.. Jonathan? :D

Some girl named Sue is what's holding us back from getting the complete Peel Sessions? Ugg the pain of it all.

Have they actually asked the management? I believe that helps...

My thoughts exactly MH. To state that management have not given permission doesn't indicate how fervently they have been enquiring.

However, this is the BBC, and we cannot yet discount the possibility that they may have been ringing Rob's mobile...

Sue is my "contact" at Strange Fruit.

I asked Jonathan Scott to ask Andy Robinson about the BBC Sessions songs, he said that the band management didn't care about it for now...

But honestly, if nobody cares, and the fan cares, there must be a way to do something.. it's not like they are new songs isn't it? just unreleased versions!

I've a great idea, why aren't all the various session tracks and unreleased tracks released on CD. There's probably a five CD box set in it somewhere... I'm a genius, why has nobody thought of this before??? I'd call it 'Retread' or something similar
