Blue Monday; primarily JD or NO?

Right, now that the "Ceremony" question's been cleared up once and for all { ), can we now argue about whether BM is really a JD or NO song. I've heard a rumour that Ian in fact came up with the original synth line when he accidentally sat on Barney's Transcendent 2000 during the "Closer" sessions, and subsequently the drum beat came to him when he was being thrown down TJ Davidson's staircase inside a suitcase. Now, as we know, just because the record credits NO, can we in fact say that it was actually JD, since Ian actually wrote practically the entire thing?

I thought Stephen Hawking originally programmed and sang Blue Monday, but then they wiped his vocals and encrypted his credits so obscurely on the record sleeve that his efforts only became a rumour.
