New Order recorded a session for the BBC just prior to Low Life being released. The played Blue Monday, Age of Consent, Ina a Lonely Place and a couple of other tracks. Is it available from anywhere. The other one is, can you get the original version of Ceremony on CD anywhere. Thanks

SATURDAY LIVE CD...i have it!:D No...but i have just burned this onto CD-R. E-MAIL ROCKET MICK at usual address with your HOME address and you never know what you might get! :lol: :wink: Cheers Rocket Mick

Is your version of IALP full? the one that surfaced a few years ago (and on the site above) has a glitch at the middle.. VERY annoying.

can someone please, what is the correct title of this...is it saturday Night Live or Rock Around the Clock, or confuse jim some more :confused:

i don't know about others, but i like all the versions of the songs especially barney bugging steve about his drum speed on in a lonely place

This performance was broadcast as part of a BBC radio and television extravaganza called Rock Around The Clock, as the whole shebanglasted about 12hrs or so. It had sub title "Sight and Sound", because some parts of the show, including the New Order performance were simulcast on both radio and TV. New Order's bit was broadcast as part of a radio programme called Saturday Live, which shouldn't be confused with the US TV show Saturday Night Live.

The story apparently was that they were planning to perform newer stuff, rather than the old, but they encountered significant technical problems. Perhaps, hence, 'Barney's wobble'.
