Mine came in the mail today. I got it for $23.00 from Amazon. And I was planning on going to Best Buy right now too... If I only knew this a week before I preordered it. Damn.

A good buy, though the deleted scenes weren't all that crucial, I'd say. Haven't listend to the AHW commentary track yet, that should be interesting.

The Wilson commentary is great, he keeps commenting on how the filmmakers got a lot of details wrong and the like.

Thought I saw that the UK DVD had more deleted scenes than the US version, looks like that's something I need to get.

BTW Tabsy, love you new sig, definitely one of my fave lines of all time from those two, right up there with Burns telling Smithers "Dogs are such idiots...........they run up to you and start humping your leg. What would you think if I did that to you?"

Anyway, I remember that Satan line as "who's the goat-legged fellow, I like the cut of his jib"

uk one has 24 deleted scenes. pre order from hmv (out tmrw) & get the ltd sleeve

The limited edition British version DVD of 24 HPP will be available over here as an import, but unless you have the conversion equipment, you're out of luck on the playback. The deleted scenes add nothing to the stateside version. Still it's a great DVD and story, regardless of fact vs. fiction.

got mine tuesday from j&r music world for 15.99, the deleted scenes are dissapointing (except the gretton ones,lol) i thought there were more scenes with JD(probably on the UK version) the commentaries are good, and the featuretts are kinda weak too overall though its a great film

One problem I have with the soundtrack, now that I've seen the film: Why no A Certain Ratio? I would have loved to hear the two radically different songs they did in the film...

the peter saville gallery is interesting & its a shame about the cencorship on "from the factory floor" cos that is v enjoyable too

I think you're right about the Burns quote.......

I got the quote from an "unoffical" quotes website, so it could be wrongly worded (this IS the Internet, after all :D)
