Did the "Happy Mondays" take their name as a play off of "Blue Monday"? Prolly not but thought I'd ask anyway.

No, it never had anything to do with Blue Monday.

I thought they got from the fact that they used to get their dole cheques on Monday, hence Mondays were happy...
