Admit it, you are

Watching 511 again, I just realized that in the band's closet there are soundboard recordings and video footage of

  • Liverpool 2001
  • Apollo 1998
  • Alexandra Palace 1998

Which might never see the light of day... a double live CD would be a very good thing don't you think?

I'd love to see the Liverpool gig completely, after all, a New Order show with Billy Corgan is not your usual New Order show :evil4:

What about kidnapping them, getting them stoned/drunk, taking the shows, and releasing them with all the care that only a NO fan could?

Frustrated ? No !! I haven't got a DVD player ! New Order on video/DVD doesn't do it for me, there's something missing. CD/tape is different altogether, as you are channeled to the one media form, but the combination of sight and sound doesn't work, you lose the buzz of being at the gig.

I may agree with it, but since I haven't been on any New Order concert, such things as DVDs make it up for me a bit. What else. But those people who have been alot on their concerts can easily imagine a real footage in their mind.

maybe they could release a workout video that features all the "best" Barney dancing from all these shows!

I was at all of the above, so I don't need to see them again espescially with my fantastic memory......then again:lol:

As I've said before, and you see some clips on 3 16 and 5 11, the band or that Michael Shamberg recorded all of the 98 concerts + Liverpool 01 and maybe a few others from the Get Ready Tour, I'd love to see video's of all of these, but with the band being the band, I think we'll be lucky if we get a chance to see any of em.......you never know they may bring some sort of compilation of em all....but I doubt it.

Frustrated NO. I love the DVD and am glad that New Order got back together so we have such great releases. People, try being just a little grateful. You guys have more whine than the Napa Valley and Italy combined.

I'm also wondering what else they've got secreted in the vaults. I'm sure I've seen people to the side of the stage filming gigs as early as Hull Tower in 1982.

I just think the opposite. can´t listen much to live recordings on cd or tape because I feel something´s missing. I need the whole "live" experience when it comes to live performances.

I don't have the live live NO option since I am in the US. We can only get bands like Erasure to play in the US. NO won't have anything to do with us.

so sad, so true, so far, so we can only hope the next time around they will drop by our part of the planet, hang around for a while and say "hi"

Think you've got it bad ? Try getting someone to play here. Live recordings would be OK, but please no substandard performances like the BBC Live thing.
