ok,

for the time being, i'm going to be posting the mp3 files on a free site..

of course this impacts several things

1. just ask me for the link, and i'll send it to you, it seems a lot of people were linking to my private site, and incurring a lot of bandwidth issues on my friends server...

2. since its a free site, there's limited bandwith per month, so i'll be replacing the files every few days...there wont be a large archive of them...and i WONT BE REPOSTING FILES, IF YOU MISS THEM, THEY ARE GONE....

3. IMPORTANT NOTE : YOU WILL HAVE TO RENAME THE FILE TO SAVE IT. I CHANGED IT TO .zip so that PEOPLE WONT LINK TO IT etc...i will also be changing the link location etc, so spiders/robots, and file linkers won't pick up on them..

4. there's a separate message board function there, to maintain more private requests, etc...

5. if you can't find a file, i would appreciate it if people would share them amongst themselves, or host them elsewhere...

well, anyways enough issues, and back to the music..

this version is an attempt at condensing the full version down to a manageable length..

it still retains most of the intensity and complex rhythms, although it omits a verse..

great combination of guitar work and keyboards..

similiar to the album version though...

because this version is an attempt at condensing the full version down to a manageable length..

once again, it's highly editted.

but i think it still captures interesting aspects of the song...some female vocal parts, (who is that?)...and some other cool musical effects..

if you've never heard the full version, get that also..it's much easier to find..

once again, i highly recommend this song...since its one of my all time favorites...i never get tired of it..

just wanted to let you know,

1. it appears the new site for the files is up, and working for most people...

2. i'm going to go back after some more 'perfect kiss' versions..

and put up the 'confusion' mixes.. and hurt 12" (full version from cd)

3. i think i'm only going to leave the files up for a few days..so if you don't see them ASK AROUND, i know other people are getting them, please share!.....

i'm sorry if you are missing out, but i'm on a dial-up connection, and i only can post them at certain times, and also theres a lot more files to put up...and we'll never get to them with a slow rate...

finally, its mostly DUE TO A LACK OF FILE SPACE...so don't take it personally if you don't get them..

4. you're going to see A TON of information regarding 'the perfect kiss'...

i'm getting ready to post the REAL 12" full version also....along with the original video edit, and FULL video version..

also, i finally got around to listening to the 'retro' version, and have made notes on the differences, timings, etc...

i've also correlated it to the other video edits....

don't worry if it doesn't seem clear, its mostly for my own amusement...

in the end, its the 'perfect kiss', and that's all that matters..

thanks for all the enthusiastic responses for the files..

it looks like the site is being swamped with requests again..

so...

does anyone use KAZAA (or kazaalite, edonkey/emule, winMX) etc.....ie. p2p file sharing programs????

i would like to do it that way, but since i'm only on a dial-up most of the time it wouldn't be efficient...

so, here's my request..

1. does any have a public ftp they want to use to donate space [this is the best option]

2. secondly, does anyone want to HOST/SHARE files via P2P programs.....this would involve you getting the files (in this case, you would get them first from me, and then share them with others)...

we could work something out for this, this isn't a bad option either..

3. everyone could just wait until i'm done with all the files, and work something out after that (i don't think that would go over too well).. cd trades/mp3/etc...

i'd rather not go that route..

finally, remember we don't want any 'new order' related sites hosting the files due to legal/moral issues either..

i don't mind sharing non-cd quality sound files (that are out of print), with interested fans..

any ideas/thoughts/comments are welcome..

i'm sure there's a better way to share these files..

i just don't have the income to pay for a dedicated site right now (and i don't want to use my friends site either, as he has to pay for the extra bandwidth generated)..

if you're willing to help, i'll make sure you get the files first, and in the future, CD-quality versions w/media..
