Confusion on International

Is there a version of International that has the origial version of Confusion? I hate the new version and wish they would have had the Authur Baker version on the US CD. Amazon listed that it would have the 12inch version on it. I bought it and found the new version found on Substance. Can anyone help me out on this. I will even order the Import if I have to. Thank God Retro has the Version I like.

I don't know if there's different tracklistings but the canadian release of International has the 1987 version of Confusion...

They had advertised the US version as having Arthur Baker's 12" version, but apparently this is not the case. Friends have told me it is the 1987 version. Word was also out that the US "International" has the 12" of "Perfect Kiss". I don't know if that is true (in fact, I doubt it).

Nope, International has the 1987 mix of Confusion (4:42) and the version of "Perfect Kiss" on US version is 4:50, so not original 12" mix.

Haven't checked the DVD yet, but apparently the version of The Perfect Kiss video is not full length... Will check shortly!

Yup, the version of The Perfect Kiss video is about 5 minutes in length...

What a disappointment!

And what's that after "True Faith" - interference before the credits?

There was, however, a promo CD-R released in Germany and the UK that *DID* have the 12" versions of "Perfect Kiss" and "Confusion" on them...

Shame they didn't make it to the final release...

The bonus DVD with the Rhino release of International contains the original UK version (album edit) of the True Faith video. In the US, the True Faith video that was shown is set to the 7" remix and had less live footage of the band.

Tough choice.....edit of TPK but full length of True Faith......I'll choose to save my money....for now ;)
