Im so sick of Bizarre Love Triangle!! Over here in America its like the only New order song ever played. I hate it as much as I cant stand hearing I Will Survive which is the most over played song ever. Bizarre Love Triangle to me sounds like the theme to Green Acres. I hate the banjo sound to it. I wish America would wake up and learn some other New Order songs. The have so many other great songs no one ever hears. What do you think?

don't american's only know 3 new order songs? blue monday, BLT and true faith. it's funny, cuz i BLT was the first NO song i heard, but i rarely ever listen to it. i usually forget it exists.![]()
Actually, BLT is the only New Order song I've ever heard!
I've been living a lie, yes, a lie! I am not a fan of New Order! I don't even know who they are! I just hear Bizarre Love Triangle on the radio every day and think "why are they singing a pop song about Mozart?"........wait, that's Falco! ![]()
Whew :o , I was worried there for a moment....

Tabsy, please put the wine back in the cellar old chap;) Sick of BLT? I suppose it's the same with Blue Monday over here then.
Then don't listen to it then!:DHave a BACON,LETTUCE and TOM sandwich,a cool cola and relax.
Then turn the radio on and listen to TRANSMISSION!You will love it.![]()
actually...I heard a nifty little remix of it at the club Saturday night...it was loverly...I even danced to it...which made me the only person on the floor...
it's not that bad...I used to be sick of it for the same reason as Wayne, but remember...they could be playing all Poison, all the time...then you really would want to bash your own head in with a sun dried brick of cow dung...
right???

erm..these are the only 3 NO/JD songs I'll be allowed to squeeze into the wedding reception...per my fiancee who is forced to listed to NO constantly in the house and on any road trips with me.
I will be playing several of the instrumentals throughout however...hehehe
Ironically, I heard LWTUA the other night on the radio...btw.
cheers
It used to be my favorite song of thiers... I'd wait until it was over to get out of the car.
It's no longer my favorite but I still like it. But then again, it is very 80s and I didn't really get to live through that decade, so mabye it's just yearning for something I never experienced.
BLT the song bores me now because it's the only NO song played.
BLT the sandwich makes me REALLY hungry, esp since I've been stuck in the house since Friday because of this stoopid snow storm. I HAVE TO get out tomorrow and go eat some real fast food!!!
:D:D:D:D anita...i'd like a blt on white, no lettuce, extra mayo, extra maters, please :D
At one stage I got sick of BLT as well but since getting the 3 16 and 5 11 dvds, it's definitely back up there with the favourites again !!!
In the begining I really like the BLT remix version on Subtance. But now, the magic has gone and I hate this version... I prefer the Brotherhood version (more simple)
Hmmm... I still love it!
When it comes on sometimes i think ohh BLT aaaagain... but its so infectious that i'd never skip it!
Its a great song to jump around like a nutter to at a gig as well :D
I'd be more sick of BLT the sandwich meself. No bother with the Brotherhood version, it's pretty cool, but that single remix gets on me tits bigtime.
Brotherhood version still sounds as good as it did way back then. Still don't like the single version or any subsequent remixes (as much, anyway)

No, indeed they aren't. They are clean, sharp, and badly mixed.
It's somewhere in the lower middle class for me, same as sandwiches. Give me a lasagna every day !

I have never heard this song before here, besides from my CD. The only song I've heard here is Blue Monday, and its usually the Orgy remake. Where did you hear it?
Well, I also fell like "enough BLT for me, OK, Mr. DJ?", but when it plays at discos... well, my friends always start looking for me and then I HAVE to dance, otherwise they kill me.
:headoff:
i use to like it more in the olden days when i was young(er), but it just doesn't hit me between the eyes like it did
hey, at least it is on the radio right...i was pleased when I heard Crystal 2 times on the radio ![]()

At least you had the pleasure of that. From Syracuse west, New Order disappeared after 1993 ![]()
Bizarre Love Triangle is f-in horrible because of radio/wedding dj overplay. I'm just talking about the Shep Pettibone version (as well as the 1994 remix of it). I also cannot stand any remakes of it, especially the Frente version. It was once a good song in my mind but the world has destroyed it. Skip #11 on the substance cd playback.
a month ago, i heard bizarre love triangle played in walmart. i was passing through the frozen food section to buy some soap...it was kinda weird hearing a classic new order song being played in such a mundane place.
go figure.![]()
New Order in Wal-mart???
now there is something I never would have thought you would hear in a million years!!!
but I did pilfer a Blue Monday 88 disc from Wal-mart years ago...not that I condone this type of behavior...
I love Bizzare Love Triangle and always will. Its a classic single and when I hear it played at clubs or wherever, I get up and dance, and it always fills the floor, still 17 years on.
Cheers ALEX
