The "Temptation"-esque songs are what New Order does best. They're also great "plink plonkers"....
Vote for Rawk: Guitar, Bass, Synth, Drum and Voice. Pure instrumentals are not my favourite I guess.

in some ways, i enjoy their sound the most on the plinky-plonky cuts, such as Video 5 8 6, the Peel Sessions version of 5 8 6, and Blue Monday.
but i love it all. i mean, after those songs, Regret is my favorite.
between rawk and rawk no synth. but depends on the weather really. sometimes i get plinky plonky too ;)
rawk. the whole shebang. all of them doing what they do best...it's beautiful.

I was trying not be non-technical : I mean the ones like State of the Nation, Paradise, etc where a nice squidgy keyboard sound abounds but no-one plays the synths at all (ie sequencer
