Bernard third row from back 4th in from left (next to the blurred kid), Hooky to the right of him as you look at it???

I totally agree. Isn't Barney just so adorable? :) Hooky is, well...Hooky!

To: a very small boy - Were they pretty good lads?

Cheers to whomever uploaded the photo!! When I searched for them (Bernard and Hooky) at http://www.oldsalfordians.co.uk , the picture seems to be cut. No wonder I couldn't spot them previously.

And Hooky din't even have a beard then.>

hooky looks about 40 on there. i remember steve morris sayin that when he met them he thought hooky was barney's dad.

Hadn't heard that one before, quality.

think it was from the 'rock family trees' doc from 97/98. great program. also had steve sayin he had to pay to get into the Hac and he stopped going because every time he went he spotted things that needed doing to the place.

So the vast majority of opinion rests with Ness's identification so step forward Bernard Dicken and Peter Hook for an hours detention after school. Nice one Ness:)

To Ger; This was one of the few days when they weren't actually skiving :D

To Anita; A pair of Barneys new specs ;)

To Marco X; 8 out of 10 for effort

To Major T; Never was really mates with Barney and Hooky just acquaintances although we were all in the same class so I did get to know them quite well.

To Benny, Major T and Hacienda That; The blurry kid is Martin Gresty, a big pal of Barney and Hooky, who according to the Mick Middles book was offered a job on vocals in the very early days. Thank God he didn't accept as they might never have met Curtis and this website wouldn't have existed. The thought of Nidder Gresty fronting a band is almost as fantastic as Barney and Hooky becoming musicians  The mate who played drums for a while was Terry Mason who later became a roadie/manager. I'll try and locate him on the bigger school photo when I have time.

To Dark Angel; The full photo is actually on the Old Sals website, you just need to click to either side to see it. I just made sure that the relevant section including Barney Hooky and me was on before I sent it to Ricardo who had asked me previously about it and who passed it on I do believe. Thanks Ricardo :)

To anyone who is still there; One last comment. Have you noticed that Barney is one of the very few skinheads on the photo? Fascist Haircut indeed :ignore:

Yeah, barney has the best haircut!

From the left is what I meant. You haven't changed a bit.

I was still thinking what to do with that picture when I realized that a new thread was started and it already had more than 25 replies. You guys are really quick and I'll have to be faster next time.
