Rock Werchter: They just gotta do it

Damn, NO playing live this summer again? (The rumoured gig Beckham is supposed to make an appearance). This brings back not so sweet thoughts of last yeard festival extravaganza. Our favorite Manchester noisenicks played quite a few festivals in Europe and there were rumours about Rock Werchter making the list. THEY JUST GOTTA DO IT THIS YEAR THEN!!! I'll forgive the boyz (you can finally say that without insulting one of the married ones) for not playing The Netherlands ever again, but at least bill Werchter as a sort of one-off Benelux appearance, right?

Blablabla, rumours and other nonsens... just wanna get the festivalbuzz goin'... Acts already confirmed for Werchter (with it's four days and line-up the most British-like festival on the continent) include REM, Metallica, Bjork, Radiohead, Coldplay, Moby, QOTSAge, David Gahan and Massive Attack. Anyone ejaculeted yet?

I'll be there, with or without NO in the line up. Mind you, so far there's nothing to get too excited about yet, except for Moby and Coldplay perhaps.

Maybe that's a reason for NO to play at Werchter? Probably (no surely) any reason will do. Guess I'm the third one from our side of the channel to try and pull them over. Is there someone to push?

I did say 'perhaps'. So far, I'm not at all impressed with the line up. How Love Technique gets off on this, I don't know... I think he's the one to see the shrink.
