Has anyone been taking note of what Hooky's had graffiti'd on his speakers?

Remember on Sunday at Glasgee it was '{Something} WANTED, APPLY WITHIN' then realised it had changed to 'IT AIN'T HALF HOT MUM' for Monday's gig. Did anyone spot if he had anything different for the Manc gigs? I never noticed.

Certainly beats 'SALFORD RULES' at any rate. Mind you, I see he's f***ing advertising said suburb of Mancland on his t-shirt now!

Something like "Post Vinyl Disorder" on Thursday and "Sorry Mum!" on the Friday at Manchester. Anyone remember "Free Jeff the Chef"!?

Having lived in Salford for 6 months several years back, I can only say that said district onl 2rules" if you're and underataker or a burglar. And much as I love the Hookmeister, its a bit rich singing the praises of that section of Manchester when he now resides in leafy uber-posh Alderley Edge!!

Off to Stoke station to get train to Cockneyville NOW: see yers all later!

What I want to know is: what's Hooky's secret:

does he

  1. buy brand new bass cab's for each gig
  2. does he replace the grilles off the front of the cabs for each gig or 3) does he hire a painter to paint over each bit of graffiti?

It's all achieved via a strategic set of angled mirrors.

Hope he has something nice and amusing if they tour the US and I get to see them.

Nobody mentioned who administers the graffiti! (I saw a long haired bloke do it at Brixton) but how is he able to change it so often on very expensive gear!?

The graffiti is taken off with paint remover or something!! Is it really that hard to figure out?? :smoking:

They revert to the old fave SALFORD RULES on LATER although I'm told by my spy in the camp that it read JACK JILL during the sound check.

Doesn't the metal grill pop off the front of the bass cabinet? couldn't they have black paint to cover over the white?
