MORGUE - THIEVES LIKE US: *** Starts off really nice. Slowly gets less listenable. Kind of evil sounding in a sense.
INDIVIDUAL INDUSTRY - BIZARRE LOVE TRIANGLE: *** Totally new tune, slowed down drumbeat. Female vocals.
BIOPSY - FINE TIME: ***** An industrial/metal cover with a dance drumbeat. Excellent.
CLONE DT - CEREMONY/TEMPTATION **** Opens with Ceremony, turns into Temptation. Weak on the Ceremony part, but strong in Temptation. Trance (kind of).
NUDE - THE PERFECT KISS ***** Probably the best New Order cover out there. Techno/trance type beat, stays fairly true to the original.
TOWARD THE CATHEDRAL - REGRET **** Pretty good as well. Stays true to the original, only gets rid of guitars and replaces them with synth sounds.
RESONATE - YOUR SILENT FACE *** I like this one too. It has a few places where you'd wish it went back to sounding like it did a few seconds ago, but other than that, pretty good.
OU UM NÃO - WE ALL STAND **** This one is cool. Has a dance beat. Stays pretty true to the original as well.
OIL FILTER - CONFUSION ** Sounds like a remix. I don't much care for this one. No vocals.
AGHAST VIEW - TRUE FAITH **** Sounds kind of evil. I have no idea what to classify this kind of song as.. Trance/techno/pop/easy listening?
TÉTINE - TRUTH ** Different. Keeps the tune, but. I don't know. Something about it makes it cheesy. Oh well. No drums. Spoken lyrics at first, then sung again.
ETERN - TOUCHED BY THE HAND OF GOD ***** Here we go, this one is probably the truest to the original. I like it alot. Heavy bass drum makes it more danceable than the original though.
HARRY - DOUBTS EVERN HERE ***** This cover is extreamly well done, except the vocals are hard to make out. Sounds like the original pretty much, only remade to suit the club scene.
SIMBOLO - STATE OF THE NATION **** Anyone who doesn't like the original will see that this has been vastly improved. Those who do like the original will still probably be impressed. Almost danceable.
NIGHT SHIFT - VANISHING POINT *** Sounds pretty close to the original. Kind of soft/mellow sounding in a sense. Vocals sung in almost the exact tune of the original.
Over all, I'd say this is probably the best tribute out there so far. Beats the new one that's being sent around now anyways. I'd suggest checking it out even if you aren't into tribute albums.
