SALFORD VAN HIRE

We made our monthly trip to Pleasure Island at Diz last weekend and I started chatting with a chap from Manchester and our conversation (for some strange reason) got round to SALFORD VAN HIRE and it turned round that he was one of the chaps who started the business up.

Their name had completely slipped my mind but you would always see one of their 7.5 tonners parked near where NO were playing and when we were having difficulty finding a venue this was always something to keep the old mince pies out for.

I'm not too sure if he said he was still involved or if they are indeed still going. Any ideas anyone? DM

good call...these vans were always a giveaway for the the more trickier locations... not sure who or what they use nowadays...

Hooky must have shares in that place, Revenge and Monaco both used them as well!

Always indebted to Salford Van Hire - they helped us find many a concealed venue in time just by looking for (or following) their vans !!

Benny - I did the same! I'm sure they sometimes used another company though, and then it became confusing....
