Congratulations on your purchase, very fine choice for the tune as well. I remember when I bought a new Toyota in 85 and the first song I heard on the radio was Love Vigilantes; very thrilling indeed.

Wonder how many people are buying Jags cause they used London Calling by the Clash in one of their ads?

Never had a Jag because I'm a Chrysler girl. They look pretty good, though...

Never had a Jaguar... and never will, I guess! Anyway, when I bought my first set of wheels the first CD I played was LWTUA (the 95 CD-single: I had purchased it in that very same day!)

I bought a new Toyota 4 Runner Sept. '01, right after "Get Ready" was released. That was the first CD I played followed by the rest of my NO/JD collection. The first cassette I played (it has both CD and cassette) was "Technique."

A while back I got my hands on a Mini Metro. It had 10cc already in the cassette holder and I couldn't get it out.

Needless to say I was the belle of the ball coasting down the sea front promenade with the windows down and 'I'm not in Love' blasting out of the ash tray.

I first thought it was a topic about Fender Jaguars, the best guitars in the world, but I'm sure the car is nice also. The CandyMobile is currently a severely dented Suzuki Swift, which had the cassingle of Sophie B. Hawkins' "Damn! I wish I was your lover" in the glovebox, presumably as a buyer incentive. I purchased the car regardless. Can't top the 10cc anecdote though - welcome back, Huntsy. ctb

If it really was a Metro, it has a 1000cc engin, not a 10cc one. Yer a fake, as always!

I ride a bicycle and I'm proud of it.

I bought a new pair of Docs the other day. The laces are crap flimsy things and 6 miles a day (the remix version from the B side) does wear them out pretty rapidly. Anyone know where I can get an in-Docs stereo for them? That would rock.

Old Jag, 1985. They are cheap here in the States due to certain issues and that German and Japanese and American cars are 'drive and forget' and require less maintenance. Mine is the 2 door coupe with a V-12, 155 mph top speed. Still has NO in the cassette deck.

I do not have any Doc Martinis but own about 10 bicycles (about 3000 miles a year average on bike)and a glorified Escort, Mercury Tracer. The Tracer cost me more than the Jag, but The Jagalready has cost me more in repairs and labor than the tracer ever has.

I guess the first NO CD I heard in my '89 Chevy Cavalier was Technique.

It more than made up for the car :D

Best thing about my car is the 6cd changer lets me drive and listen to NO uninterrupted for up to 5-6 hours...which I have done several times in the past 2 months alone...

These changers are also good 'cause I have a bad habit of dropping cd's and keeping cases on the car floor...can you say keeeraaaackkk.

Your point is well made, but JazzMaster is technically two words stuck together A fine piece of work the JM is, design-wise not a million miles away from the Jag. I'd happily accept one as a gift (or failing that, a Rickenbacker 12-string ala the latest performances of LWTUA). CTB
