He was touring on the US New Order gigs (as far as I know), but not in the UK.
The rumours that he would probably appear at the London gigs, were ...just rumours. I've just came back from Brixton Academy.

Mr. Corgan needs to fuck off for good. maybe some of the other washed up rock asses can hook up (chili peppers/janes addiction etc.) Corgan spoils an otherwise excellent neworder album with his lame appearence. i saw him at the gorge with neworder and it sort of cheapend the experience. his voice sucks and his guitar playing is middle of the road. corgan on BLT is not a good addition. be happy he isn't on tour with the Order.

In 1992, he played Werchter, a festival in Belgium. Lou Reed was on the bill too.
It was raining like hell during Reed's performance. There were three persons in the frontstage area : myself, James Iha and Billy Corgan, still with long hair. He stayed there for all the show.
I guess that tells you something about his dedication as a music fan.

At least someone is sticking up for Corgan! If people don't rate him then they have obviously not heard "Siamese Dream" where apparently he plays most of the instruments bar drums.

I don't know if it's my favorite but it's one of them. And, yes, I think it's the best song on the album.
