"Oh Arthur", my funny incident today...

Ok, before I start, this is not an April Fools, this actually happened today. I went to the Ideal Home Exhibition at Earl's Court today (phew Rock 'n' Roll!) and on the way back I was waiting for the tube train down to Wimbledon for ages and when the doors opened in front of me who should walk out and brush past me but Arthur Baker. What are the chances of that happening?!? I guess he must be over here for some club night or remixing. He looks much cooler than most people half his age, great hat.

It's funnny but last year when I came home from the Ideal Home Exhibition I saw Nick Cave with his son on Parsons Green station, looking like he'd just picked him up from school. Wonder if other parents give him a wide berth at the school gates ? Next year I will go for my hat-trick.

Anybody else seen New Order-related people where they least expect it?

Well, this happens usually with local artists, I guess it's more frequent in England.

It did happen a few time here with local "stars", I certainly recalled going to a Tears for Fears concert with Sebastien and getting lost to find the door of the auditorium with one of the very well know humourist of Quebec (for people who are aware, I'm talking about Guy A. Lepage).. that was funny because we didn't notice he was walking beside us until he talked to us, and told us basically "damn it, I did shows here and I don't even know how to get it"

Over the years at either pubs outside the venue, or pubs inside the venue I've met Bez, Mani, Bobby Gillespie, Noel Gallagher and that prick from Eastenders....funnily enough they were all drinking, so it's not really that unusual. When the Onliners met up last year, myself, Johnny Giles and Jeff The Chef saw John Thompson (fast show, cold feet, 24hrpp) wandering past the pub, and several locals trying to get him in for a beer.....unsuccesfully:lol: Then at the pub before Finsbury, there was a false rumour that Steve Coogan was in the house.

Saw Kim Medcalf (Sam in Eastenders) at King's Cross Underground on Saturday, Claire Goose (Casualty) last week, Lynne off Alan Partridge a couple of weeks back and James Dean Bradfield not too long ago. They were all glad to see me as well.
