I am already celebrating with a tube of 'Curry' flavour.

We don't seem to have that flavor, Huntsy.

Apologies for my stupidity Pat, but is that the original single version or another mix?

Patty, it only got released 'Limited Edition' in the UK last week and I think I was first in line for trial and testing purposes. A very fine vintage it must be said. I can only hope she crosses the pond successfully very soon so you can sample it yourself.

In an intruiging twist to the tale I told my business partner 'Al me Pal' to try them and he and his bird took my advice and obtained a module. Right now, I'm staring at the half-empty leftovers which are sat neatly on my desk... they thought they were filthy.

I'm at a wedding on Saturday and I've been dieting all week. Perhaps the temptation will overpower me... its a difficult time for me P.

Briggsy have you seen A.I. yet?

It's been an incredibly busy week or so for me recently Huntsminoan-but by the next time I post on this board I hope to have seen it.

As it is I'm off to the pub in about an hour, followed by the Order this evening followed by a week in the sun with the missus.

Who says 'lifes a piece of shit'?.....

Seb, that is a question I cannot answer for sure, but since the chart is based on club play I assume that what is being played in clubs would be one or more of the remixes.

Huntsy, Curry flavored Pringles sound quite appealing to me. Personally I hate going to weddings and generally skip them if I can.

Pastie... I have spent a great deal of my life researching various religions and the basic ethics behind them. In a nutshell P, my potted religious history seems to show that nobody seems to have a concrete case that legitimately acknowledges that his or her god is any more or less powerful than any other. What I would say is that I have drawn the conclusion that deeply religious people have a screw loose.... full stop. (period in the US).

Interstingly though, a series of recent BBC programs showed that (roughly) 90% of scientists and learned people are at pains to admit that the closer they come to understanding what caused the point at the beginning of time (the big bang) - the closer they come to acknowledge that the chances of a 'god' being are exremely high... and were talking the best minds in the world here.

Yes, H, I've seen similar stats about scientist types. One of my many gripes about religion is that it so often seems to lead to things like we've seen recently.

Yes Pats... nobody can get around this problem. I have noticed that SINCE the terrible New York tragedies not one religious sect has surfaced (except the usual mad-men), I think they know when its time to be quiet.

I'd like you to know that I've experienced several really, really odd things in my life (entirely unexplainable) and my own view is that ghosts, paranormal activitites, esp etc. and god are all linked. The question of whether they are all explainable in our understanding is the key question and fundamental issue.

Is there a god P?

I've gotten in trouble with people, H, by saying no to that question. Are you inclined to say more about the odd experiences you refer to?

... So many spooky stories Patrick that I've experienced first hand. Im not called the Huntsman for nothing by the way. During my degree I actually put a self-titled book together about my many nocturnal dalliances with ghosts.

Okay okay here's one from the library. A close friend of mines mother is a psychic, she has actually got the third eye mark in the centre of her forehead for what its worth which does seem to make a difference to them. Anyway, grasping the opportunity to allow her to 'prove' to me her powers I challeneged her to show me something other-worldly - To my genuine surprise she accepted and asked me to meet her in a house in the middle of nowhere and to bring a mirror, some polish and a shammy... and a kettle. (This is true). So anyway, I follows her instruction/map and walked upstairs to a really weird flat which was, literally, in the middle of nowhere. So you want me to prove my powers then eh?! - she says, well boil that kettle and clean the mirror down. She was sipping whiskey, by the way, which evidently increased her ability to enhance her super powers.

So picture the Huntsman polishing a mirror, with a kettle boiling in the middle of a floor at the top of a building in a strange place whilst a psychic is sipping whiskey next to me and smoking tabs!? - Anyway, kettle boils and mirror's cleaned. So what do I do now then? I asked her - put the kettle steam next to the mirror and allow the surface to be covered in steam/mist (think a mirror in a bathroom during a bath or shower etc.). Righto, this is all very exciting.

Now, what now?

Well, she askes me to sit down and I make a cup of tea... glued to the mirror.

Sure enough, within 10 minutes I actually witnessed my own name appear on the mirror... spelt the way I spell it (which is completely fucked-up) and in MY OWN HANDWRITING.

Well then, I was taken a'back to say the least. I did get a photograph of the mirror (always pack a camera).

I did but pack my kettle up and leg it after she'd supped her ale.

This is a whole new and unexpected side to you Huntsy. I need to process this for a while. Need to make this fit in with the Pringles and the small animals and everything else. Bear with me.

So let me get this straight:

When NewOrder aren`t in the charts, the charts are irrelevant.

When NewOrder do well in the charts, the charts automatically become more credible.

That is hypocritical

Oh, is the old suit a bit tight now?

Maybe you should start dancing as if you were doing jogging on stage, while showing an arse-face -- it worked for a certain lead singer I heard!

Of course, you HAVE to scan that and show it to us here (by linking to it, using the NOOCodes!).

For some reason, I think you had whisky as well that day!

Nope... I was sober.

The photograph would reveal my identity, it cannot be allowed. Besides which, the psychic in question would not appreciate the mass exposure. Trust me, this is a true story, just one of many. Believe me... it is only a tame account, I have some really strange things in my extensive collection of ghostly historics. My dad used to be a disbeliever until he witnessed first hand a creepy happening.

So many mysterious, so little time (to paraphrase my good friend Patty).

Facsy, I think you're oversimplifying a little bit. For one thing, NO have always had a higher profile in the U.S. in the dance/club world than in the pop/radio world, and this particular chart is a dance music chart based on club play, not radio play. Also, as I've said before, my personal view is I would like to see GR have enough commercial success that the group continues producing new music. It's not a question of whether chart position correlates with quality.

So, Huntsy, can we expect regular future installments on your experiences with the strange, the odd, the creepy, the mysterious?

I don't give a damn about the charts either way, there's too much crap mucking it up for my taste
