HOOKY'S MULLET - TIME FOR A COMEBACK....

Perhaps if New Order revisited the good old days of the mid-late-80's, they may yet be absolutely HUGE!! After all, remember U2 pre-Live Aid?? Bono's......MULLET!!!!! Yeah, you heard right! M-U-L-L-E-T!! There is incontrovertible evidence that awful 80's haircuts = huge worldwide sales!! Remember Spandau Ballet? Duran Duran? Paul Young? Big Country? Them were the days!! If Hooky reinstated his 1984-85 Mullet, and New Order sold their soul to the uberking of Easy-Cruisin' FM Rawwwk - MUTT LANGE - to handle production of their next LP - due out in 2009 - (C'mon Hooky, leather keks won't look too good when you're 54, but denim jeans and laquered - albeit greying coiffures will do wonders!!) they might yet go fuckin' supernova!! Just think - easy rockin' good time anthems to stand on a cliff-top and watch your Mullet-tail billowing in the wind to, whilst striking that perfect Hooky poise of BASS (geddit? geddit??) slung low.....they can then sell out big style and shindig with the likes of old pizzaface Bryan (not Ryan!!) Adams!! So long as they keep Bobby Gillespie under lock and key this time, harrumph!! There's hope yet. Thank fuck!!

Got this great idea: why don't we buy up loads of fake Mudflaps, and hand them to all New Order fans at their next arena concerts, give them loads of lighters just in case any slow numbers (Run Wild for example) get played and then orchestrate the crowd to sway along as one to Hooky's bass playing, chanting the mantra:

'EH UP HOOKY!!
WHERE'S YOUR MULLET!!
GET OUT YOUR MULLET!!
THAT KENTUCKY WATERFALL!! YOUR PRECIOUS BEAVER PADDLE!! SPANDEX SPORTIN' LORD OF THE APE DRAPE!!
