Picked this up from the Associates/Billy Mackenzie Forum I log on to from time to time.......Did anyone know of this? I am sure the bass would be very distinctive

In fact I've the 12" of "Light Years From Love" which features Peter Hook from New Order on bass and the sleve was designed by Peter Saville... who she was/may still be married to. Since then and after the Associates I hear nothing. And I suggest clicking here to see the sleeve.. she's lovely: http://www.enuii.org/images/lyfl.jpg

Great stuff, 586! Care to give me the link to the Associates forum? I'm a great fan of Billy Mckenzie's, too!

I assume the M Ladley who is credited as designing the cover art of the factus81-82 ep is one of the Martha's from the Muffins?

When New Order came to brazil in 1988,there was a female roadie that used to be Hooky's girlfriend. We can also see her in Mountreux Jazz Festival video.Does anybody know her name ? Is she married with Hooky now ?See her picture below.

And just to make it clear it's a Martha Ladly solo single, not her with the rest of the Muffins.

Don't remember her name, only that she, according to brazilian journos, looked a lot like Sigourney Weaver. She never married Hooky, though, as she was later "replaced" by Caroline Aherne...

Hell, this is starting to look like an "Hello" article!
