There might be a few you don't know...!
The Original version is the one on Retro's Disc #1.
The "Rough Mix", is on Arthur's Baker Breakin' compilation if I remember right, and of course the 1983 12"..
Alternative & Essential are on the 1990 Confusion Remixes..
The Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix is featured on the "rest of" and movie Blade..
I'm gonna have to go w/ the Original 12", a nice logical step forward after Blue Monday. For some reason gets me really pumped up. I find myself doing the "ra ta ta ta ta HEY!" all day after a listen.
I think the Substance version was more representative of how the guys did the song live, so that gets my vote. The original 12 inch was just too hip-hop for my liking (heck, I wanna breakdance party evry time I hear it 
)
In terms of remixes, the Pump Panel Reconstruction has to go down as one of the best New Order reworkings ever in my opinion - for those that weren't aware, this is the track that backs the bloodbath scene in the nightclub near the start of the excellent Blade movie :)

Problem is, it's so reworked, it's no longer a New Order track...
Not a bad techno song, but that is just not Confusion anymore, just an occasion of releasing a techno song under New Order's name.
Nobody, I mean, NOBODY that bought a New Order CD expecting this type of music must like them now
Arthur Baker´s Con-om-fus-ars-ion from the Minimal Records vinyl. excellent beat. the original mixes? hmmmm not one of my favourite songs :\ohwell:
"Koma & Bones" for me, but it's one of my least favourite neworder-tracks, so i don't mind at all...
Substance mix, probably because it's the one I´ve heard more often, although the Koma Bones mix is quite good, too.
I do not care much about the Pump Panel one, funnily enough it's the favourite song of a friend of mine who had not even heard of New Order "proper" until I lent him some CD's.
I voted from the Rough Mix, just something I prefer about this over the a side version.
Should have put the 7" version on as an option which is trhe same as the video.
The Original 12" is magic, and got my vote. There are a few good versions, next best for me would be Koma & Bones.
Wheres 'Confused Beats' Nicos?? that would get my vote 
but as its not on the list i'll have to go for the original 12 :D
koma & bones, especially for the heavy bass. i could listen to it all day. and sometimes i practically do. it does such a fantastic job updating this dance classic, and it reeled me in the first time i heard it. it's rare that a remix outshines an original but in this case they've achieved exactly that, IMHO.
Ya missed 'confusion dub 87' from the TBTHOG single!
Anyhow I vote for the original version, with the Koma And Bones second.

the 12" i just bought it used a month ago and i was surprised how good it was. usually cd singles suck, but this one was damn good.

The original is always the best (unless there is a live version of it out there, I would love to here that).
Original. Always liked this one better than the '87 one. Next would have to be nearly all the mixes off FAC'93. :)
The Astro Remix was pretty good too!
The original is easily the best. The versions of confusion and temptation on substance are not a patch on the originals. As every year goes by, confusion seems more and more groundbreaking. It could be released this week and it would sound completely modern.
