Yes, you heard it here first!

According to David Potts:

"..The only info at the mo is that it will be 2 chronological CDs. One containing a bulk of One True Passion & GWP. The other (also chronological) with all the remixes, unreleased tracks etc. Peter is working on the first at the moment. There'll be a re recorded version of two songs. Too early for track listings yet.."

Thanks to Ally for the info!

that's awesome! one true passion is a great record and it was kinda sad it was out of print for such a while. good to hear it's getting a re-vamp.:thumb:

I have been asked to remove the 4 "rarities" given away (The Wilding, Microbes, Smoothie and don't remember the 4th one) so apparently those will be on the 2nd disc...

The 4th one is Glass Box. I wonder if they will leave those songs like that. hope not because sound quality isn´t good. also there´s one of them that is not complete, if i remember right... but i believe it´s a serious project so hopefully we won´t have to worry about these issues.

two questions: "why?" and "why now?"

Hooky should move his ass back to the studio to Barney and Stephen to record a new neworder-album. i really like the first Revenge-album but i think such business should be done when new order are history (some time).

Get Ready was without Gillian, the next NO album will be without Hooky. And it will be called "Welcome back to the Republic".

Well, RAM just released a new EP and they are doing gigs, so I'm surprised he has time to work on this.

Altough work is not really the good term.. this is the equivalent of Twisted Tenderness Deluxe Edition for Revenge/Monaco.

But I agree, this is indeed more or less bad news, if they are re-recording 2 songs, it's time away from the new New Order album.

This thing will never be ready before 2004!!!

Don't reckon it'll be called 'Substance' by any chance, do you?

Yay! Visited the website yesterday to see if there was any info on RAM's new release (read a review on C4 Text on Monday but haven't found it in any stores as yet) and got this instead. Quality news.

Does anyone know what's up with the RAM website? It's not been up for a couple of weeks now, seems to have disappeared into the ether. Are they still active or what?
