What do you think NewOrders most expensive and lavish video has been?
Most of them seem quite low key and dare i say low budget...
Still Barney & Marr went to a volcano in the philippines to record a video! that could be considered kind of exotic

They went further afield to record the Regret video though!(italy??) although the "camcorder" vibe wasnt quite as refined as the filming in that French hotel for World
"Spooky".
They MUST have payed a fortune to convince the bloke who "stars" in it to make such a complete prat of himself wearing that paperbag hat!
BLUE MONDAY 88 cost an absolute fortune i read.And i kid you not but over £100K for THE PERFECT KISS is something i read recently but can't believe!

Were the price of Tennis balls high in the late 80's then

Apparently the guy who directed BLUE MONDAY was very arty and expensive back then.Don't know why cos it was pretty damn awful!

It was all done on a set in london! with Keith Allen directing it he wont have been paid much although they did have a real buddhist monk in it, he might have wanted a big wadge of cash!!
Blue Monday 83 was done on a Commodore 64, and even better than that, Video 586 was shot on a ZX Spectrum......I kid you not!
