Do you mean in general or just in this forum? I think all the polls here are left over from a few months ago, some dickheads keep bringing them back (mainly new guys, I think, so it's a bit harsh to call them dickheads. Sorry, newbies).
There is a whole other forum for polls, folks. Use it, please!

Just like there is NO WAY to stop somebody from replying to all post 1 year old, there is no way to stop people voting to the polls in the resource menu.
Don't worry, they will be gone quickly, it's just a matter of a newbie replying in all of them.
I don't like it either, but I don't know how I could stop it from happening!

Did you find the true faith cd you were looking for ?
I don't have a problem with the polls myself; I think they're just another way for us to share our opinions about things and I wouldn't like to see them disappear completely.
Can they not be moved over to the Polls Forum as soon as they appear on here again, Nic ?
It is a bit tiresome having to wade through all of 'em yet again :sleep2:

Maybe I'm missing the point, but if you know it's an old poll then why worry about it? Skip by it and look for new stuff.

That's a fair enough point, but we've got neither one thing or the other at the moment. Surely the whole point of having a forum solely for polls is so that they ALL go in it and those that don't want to be bothered by them aren't. If not what is the point of having it?

I think that the poll should be in the polls forum.
Maybe we need a poll to decide whether the forum about whether old polls should be moved to the forum poll should be here or on the polls forum.

Not necessarily newbies replying to all of them. I for one don't get to visit the site on a daily basis and like to take part in the discussions (polls included) too. I agree with Rocket Mick, just skip them if you don't want to read them, but if others want to chime in they shouldn't be disallowed. That kinda defeats the whole purpose of the message board.
It's the lack of concurrency that's irritating.
You don't need to visit here on a daily basis, but some of these polls have been raked up again from month's back.
at least they bring back the old ones and not start new polls with the same again and again. they seem to use the search engine. we have to give them credit for that. don´t you think?
