New Order never EVER did a 'Movement tour'. They simply played a number of random gigs, loosely structured by the odd country/month/week/whatever.
The 'Movement tour' was a concept manufactured by this website 20 years after the date in order to try and introduce some structure and semblance to their gig listings.
In actuality, no such tour never EVER existed, and the only 'tours' NO have undertaken have been, say, the odd US tour, or Far East tour, or whatever: gigs which could be grouped geographically, as opposed to proportionally, by time.
i guess the whole tour argument can be backed up by tour t shirts - get ready had one for the european leg for instance

There was also the summer of 84 UK dates, then the summer of 87 dates (8 over a wopping 2-months, although the Plymouth gig right at the end never happened).
Most UK gigs certainly though were announced in dribs and drabs, coming in two's or three's.
Actually, there was a State of the Nation 'tour' t-shirt available too, for the English gigs in October 86.

WHATEVER THEY JUST PLAYED GIGS VERY RAMDOMLY ALL OVER THE WORLD BETWEEN IAN CURTIS' DEATH (REST HIS SOUL) TILL THEY HAD ENOUGH MATERIAL FOR ANOTHER ALBUM SORRY AL THANKS FOR CORRECTING ME.
