this months Q has a 5 star review of les bains douches re-release complete with a nice tache shot of hooky & barney... also mentions that Miranda Sawyer is doing a 2 hour NO evening with new interviews on saturday 28th june 9pm. so there you go. i w ould attach a scan if i knew how to attach pictures...

This is what I have long feared. New Order confined to Radio 2 along with Jimmy Young. Whatever next? This, though, is only a perception on my part. Its just that when Radios 1 2 3 + 4 first started Radio 2 was something your parents would listen to. Wait a minute, Yes, I am one of those parents now. So that must be all right then.

Come on mate, get with it - Jimmy Young is old news!

He has now been replaced in his 12-2pm spot by none other than Jeremy Vine, the most famous JD/NO fan in current affairs.

Though I never get the chance to listen to his show...does anybody know if he ever manages to slip some of the Order into it?? Or maybe even JD...Atrocity Exhibition, perhaps? I'm sure there's a current affairs slant in there somewhere. And ideal material for Radio 2's usual daytime audience. :nod:

I must admit to not having listened to Radios 1 or 2 for probably 10 years or more. Went through a phase of listening in to 5 Live a few years ago until I replaced the car radio casette with a CD/radio. Since then it has been mostly NO/JD in the car. Do recall about Jeremy Vine though. A few days ago Shug said there had been a thread with famous celebrities who were fans of NO. Any idea where it is ? Would be interested to read that.

Thanks for that Ricardo. Knew you wouldn't let me down. Not sure about Charles and Diana being introduced to NO at Hollywood. Is that true? If so then they would have been the most famous celebs assuming that the Pope story is a work of (brilliant) fiction. Was Diana then, the bebe celebre in Fine Time?

I´ve got a concert here that Barney dedicates a song to princess Diana but it wasn´t this one in Hollywood.Do you remember which one ?It´s from 1986,I think.
