Paul Haig | The Warp Of Pure Fun Originally released on Crepuscule in 1985, The Warp of Pure Fun was Haig's second solo album, and remains his best known (and biggest selling) long player. Glossily produced with former Associate Alan Rankine, it contains no less than four classic singles in Heaven Help You Now, Love Eternal, Big Blue World and The Only Truth, the latter produced by Bernard Sumner (New Order) and Donald Johnson (A Certain Ratio). The 7 bonus tracks include a lively version of Suicide's biker epic Ghost Rider, on which Haig is joined by former Josef K cohort Malcolm Ross, several b-side tracks, and two rare songs which should have reached a wider audience at the time, Endless Song and Shining Hour. Previously released on CD in Japan only, with no bonus tracks, and long deleted, the album has been fully remastered, and the booklet includes detailed sleevenotes. A career spanning Best Of will be released by Crepuscule in 2003. FOR RELEASE OCTOBER 13 2003.

There's also some trademark Barney guitar on that track (The Only Truth) and I think he helped out with the programming as well. The drum pattern has a definite New Order feel to it. It's great, actually!
