Thanks, I still have a lot of work to do on it, I needed to get something up there quick because my buddy wanted to get his mp3s online.

PIP just said that you do webdesign...and that you are good. I had asked PIP if she did any and passed your name along...no more no less. You are more good, hey we share the same legacy in brews with Hooky ;)

that's cool. email me again and we can talk about some future projects. I'm getting ready to leave my ad agency and concentrate on freelancing, sO I could use the extra work.

same legacy? maybe, I'm sure you didn't act as much as a dork as I was when I met hooky. YOu even had something cool to give him!

So now...is the Toon better than real, I told ya so! PIP, are you really looking for a non-gay guy that listens to cool music. One of the folks that was with me when I gave Peter Hook my NuOrdr plate off my car lives in Dallas. He has a great job (in other words is not a slug) and is still single. No I do not work for Match.com I am charter member though!

Well I was really lucky...I had my girlfriend C.L. with me both times I met Hooky. She had (has) many great assets in the looks dept. 36C-26-32 and a wild personality. Yes, I did write to the band, but I am sure that it was C.L. that really got us the AfterShow passes. My friend G. and his buddy did not get AfterShow passes (ended up  while waiting for us), they did get in to the show free with my girl and I though.

My ex got pissed at me that night when I met Hooky, because she thought I abandoned her when I approached hooky. She what only 5 feet away from me. I was very excited when I met him, it's not everyday you meet a member Of New Order

Now there is a problem. G. is not very Computer savy...atleast last time I knew. I have not seen him since June 2001. Good guy. U may have to talk to him via voice. We can trade phone numbers via direct e-mail off line. Do you have a Match.com profile???

No kidding about meeting a member of the band. My ex-wanted sex right after the concert/aftershow when we got home...guess Hooky effects different women in different ways. I can appreciate appreciating that!!! (oh...that is a different thread)

Ha! That brings back memories of my ex GF! THIS IS NOT A NEW ORDER STORY!! The modern rock station in San Francisco had a morning "personality" named Alex Bennet; he did a lot of talking and comedy (more cerebral stuff- not the crap that's out there today), interspersed with a modern rock tune every now & then.

We used to listen to him evey morning. Needless to say, she HATED him! Thought he was a sexist bastard. So one day, we were driving down the street in SF (had just come back from a week of camping in the redwoods), and I see Alex Bennett walking down the street. I say "Hey, there's Alex Bennett!" She says "Where?", so I pointed him out. She made me stop the car, she got out, and ran up to him. I parked the car, and followed her. This woman, who absolutely HATED that sexist bastard Alex Bennett, was fawning all over him like the (minor) celebrity he was.

Absolutely amazing. I guess celebrities do that to people. So I can completely understand why you might have momentarily been distracted away from your ex by Peter Hook!

Hooky was looking at the "goodies" and talking to me; so I think he was distracted! Had I not been there, I think C. would have had ended up at the AfterAfterShow with the good chap from Manchester. Gotta go, the boss is in need of my help. Later.

Not to fear...I'd not "advert" in this place. If you had watched the thread that M*&&^$.com deal is there due to the fact I got engaged via the service and married! I was showing PIP and WenOrder the different pics. I will now revert to the persistant avatar (the Toon version). Sorry if anyone was offended by the Young Offender. :) Since I am just beginning to build my personality here at NewOrderOnline I should use my True Faithful avatar from 1996. The original...NuOrdrMan.

I met Bernard and Johnny Marr at a Warner Bros meet and greet for the first Electronic album. No booze at the event though. It was weird, only about ten people and Electronic just standing around. It might have gotten a bit more interesting if they had a keg or something.

PIP, I'm in Plano too. We need a good record store in this town! I guess Bill's is pretty good but I have a hard time with his dartboard style pricing sometimes.

Yes...Yes...but what were you drinking!!!! Maybe we should broaden this thread to all who have seen NO in a situation other that in concert or video etc... (other that while performing) And if you had to drink to see them then that is a Fine Time too.

Yeah, I've heard a few stories too. :) I really need to explore some more record stores around Dallas. I used to be so good about that when I lived in other cities.
