I was priveliged to see New Order a few times many years ago In Edinburgh Feb84 and 86 (Caley Palais and The Playhouse). I also saw them in Glasgow in 87 (Barrowlands). I had recordings of two of these gigs but over the years they have gone.

I would dearly love to get a copy of these again? if anyone can oblige, or point me in the right direction, I would be made up.

At that time I also knew a guy from College called Jonathan Scott from Bathgate, who was well into all things JD/NO. Is he on this Board ? - Good to hear how he is getting on these days.

Just found a link in the profiles to a lad with the same name as an old mate of mine, same age, same city, the one I knew was never a big New Order fan though.

If it's the same Jonathan Scott as pictured to the right in Hank's link with Black Grape, then yes, he's still around. Most people here know him. But he's taking a bit of a backseat at the moment for personal reasons. There's an e-mail link in there if you want to try it.

PS. I believe the Barrowlands gig in 87 was in honour of Mr Scott's birthday, no? ;)

Hi, where does one even begin to get live gigs? I saw New Order a few times in the mid 80's too but I wouldnt know where to get any stuff. Any help would be mucho appreciated. Cheers Phil
