I was rooting around the back of my tape drawer the other day and found an old bootleg of soundchecks recorded at various British venues in 1986.

The quality isn't great, but I'd guess some of you would still find them interesting. A bit different to your normal gig tape, and I'm reminded in places of that Dian Barton interview when she said that Barney was a stickler when it came to the sound. You better excuse Gillian on the first one, she has a total mare...

Love Will Tear Us Apart

All Day Long

Angel Dust

As It Is And When It Was

Weirdo

Every Little Counts

Lonesome Tonight

Shellshock

Sooner Than You Think

Love Bizarre Love Triangle

Some great stuff here Clive ! I've got a recording of them doing The Passenger at a soundcheck in 1982 along with various other bits and pieces, I'll stick them online as soon as I get a chance.

Your CDs will be with you by Thursday with any luck.

Well, she's no Linda McCartney...

Thanks so much for these; I love this sort of stuff, and it may get me through work today.

How long/large are these files supposed to be? My download keeps getting cut off part-way (probably my crappy internet connection , but it works for other, even larger things...)

That's better.... Now the answer to your question is no! The tape has a lovely day-glo orange sleeve, but doesn't go into detail. It was a long time ago, but I think the guy I traded with said Wolverhampton and Bradford St Georges.
