hey everyone
does anyone have a copy of substance 1989? i'm trying to get hold of a copy but i don't have a clue where to go or where to find one. my own guess is ebay - anyone else have any other ideas?

I've got it, got a free t-shirt with it when I bought it from Virgin. A screenprint of the video cover as I recall.
I remember seeing one being offered for sale on the other forum not too long ago - check it out in www.worldinmotion.net if you haven't already.

i actually had a peek on amazon... i was shocked to see the amount on sale. i think i'll be buying one once my wages go in at the end of the week :D - saves me having to come onto the site all the time to watch them.

Nope. Defineately Substance. White T-shirt with the black & white cover of the video box screenprinted onto the front. Only available if you bought it from Virgin and was limited, the deal was advertised on Page 2 of the NME the week the video came out (how's that for detail!). Didn't get anything when I bought Academy.
Yup, got both the Academy and Substance video t-shirts - exactly as described, but neither fit me now!
Interestingly, the Academy video was withdrawn soon afterwards due to copyright reasons over the 'Louie statue'-style cover, and replaced with a different cover. Shortly afterwards, the statue cover then reappeared!

cheers - didnt remember the substance one, but remember the academy one well (& the ad for it, but not what page it was on) - there was a discussion on here about the reason for the withdrawn sleeve a few weeks ago
