I got this from the Pet Shop Boys Site. Can anyone share some light on it? It sounds like they are saying Electronic coppied the song? I dont speak "Black" very well, but I think Crib means home? And who are Sheila and B Devotion's Spacer?

Question 881: Neil, What's this about Getting Away With It being a crib of Sheila and B Devotion's Spacer? Are Johnny and Bernard just not very good at copying because I can't hear it myself. With this in mind, have you and Chris ever set out to mimic another song and ended up with something brilliant but seemingly completely unrelated?

Answer:

  1. I only just discovered this myself. 2. No, but maybe we'll try it now... N
