Peel Sessions

Just bought this "the john peel sessions" record which is recorded in the early 80's. This is a great album. Why haven't you mentioned this one before ;)

Because its not new to us. And we have from time to time. If you liked that, you should try to download the 1998 peel sessions or the 2001 bbc session. Now those were great.

But which one though? I have the 81 Session on CD (Truth, Senses, ICB and DNE), which is good, but *blah*....I have the 82 Sessions on my computer (Turn The Heater On, Too Late, We All Stand, and an early, amazing 5-8-6)...

The second session made it onto a CD last night, w/ some other rare tracks (Hurt 12", Mesh (NOT C&W ;) ), I call it Retro Disc 6 Transition

I think I ate my 98 sessions!! Hey...I was hungry!

yeah. I don't know why I didn't have those 81 & 82 peel sessions before. Truly amazing. On my CD, there are eight songs (already all mentioned above). All the tracks are great and songs like "turn the heater on" and "too late" makes it worthwhile to buy for a fan too. I really like that early 5-8-6 too. It really is different in P,C & L with much more dance (and even punkier) kinda sound. Truth, Senses, I.C.B... all great performancec. I really think I will get those other peel sessions too.

You won't find them in music stores cause they are not an official release. Maybe with some fans or boots
