doncaster "rotters"

i personally recorded a live tape of new order at doncaster rotters ..im not sure of the year..think its 84-85..the nite before i seen them at the tower ballroom in birmingham if that helps..if anyone wants a copy(trade) email me basser@btinternet.com

April 85, part of that mini series of dates where they gave Low Life a thorough airing. "Pernod before People" - that was Barney's famous Doncaster quote !

MMMMM. ....remember that well, they played a blinding set in Edinburgh in February85, the low LIFE tracks were sublime. Don't think they will ever recapture that spirit again.

they played salford,doncaster and macclesfield the day after each other...all within striking distance for me...i only made macclesfield...our transport broke down for donny..( we had tickets in our hands )...and my ticket source let me down for salford uni !! still 85 was a fantastic year ...lots of great venues and good crowds and up for it sets
