Well, why not? They had one for Trainspotting, and 24 Hour Party People had more, and arguably better, music. The one volume didn't do the multitude of fantastic songs used in the movie justice.

In anticipation of this, I have compiled a vol. 2 of my own. Tracklisting:

  1. No Fun-Sex Pistols
  2. Tart Tart-Happy Mondays
  3. Digital-Joy Division
  4. In the City-The Jam
  5. The Passenger-Iggy Pop
  6. Freaky Dancin'-Happy Mondays
  7. No More Heroes-The Stranglers
  8. Rowche Rumble-The Fall
  9. Flight-A Certain Ratio
  10. King of the Beats-Mantronix
  11. Wrote for Luck-Happy Mondays
  12. Go-Moby
  13. Kinky Afro-Happy Mondays
  14. Belfast-Orbital
  15. World in Motion-New Order

Regrettably, I was unable to find the other Durutti Column and A Certain Ratio songs used in the movie. Or Joy Division's "Louie, Louie"--do mp3s of that even exist?

Still, the mix flows considerably well. I listen to it about as much as the first.

Transpotting #2 was "music that inspired the movie" and not in the movie though..

Not entirely true. Much of it was remixes of songs that were in the movie, and I know that at least three of the songs ("Dark and Long (Dark Train Mix)," the Carmen one and "Temptation") were in the movie.

Aah, "Flight", good to see that in the tracklisting, brilliant song.

And it was actually in the film, wasn't it?!

There was only one New Order song in the movie that wasn't on the first soundtrack. Not to mention the fact that two of the NO songs on the first one weren't even in the movie (although one was in the trailer).
