Techno 2??

it's probably been asked before but i remember reading an article that said Republic was to contain a track called Techno 2. Did this track become something else or did it just not surface?

I think Techno 2 became Spooky, if that's any help. There was a thread a while back about alternate song titles, the answer should be there.

Yeah, thats where i read it. i also seem to recall it was listed on the Mac won in that competition?

just think how much money they could have made if they'd released Republic on thier own label.... nah, they would have probably fucked it up!

I seem to also recall that "Techno 2" was also the working title for "Chemical", although "Spooky" was often mooted as the track it eventually became....

Another working title - "Identify" - was also mentioned in that same NME page 3 news article - but which track did that one become, anyone?
