yep, the old hacienda even had a mention on location, location, location last week(for people outside the uk location, location, location is a crap property programme here in the uk) it is also mentioned by hooky on the twenty four hour party people second-extras dvd,and how they paid him (and the rest of the band) £,000s/$,000s to use the name of the hacienda for the new flats that they are developing. can you imagine it ,hacienda mansions--strange!!!!!!!!!! steve smith:scratch:

When the plan was for me and Karen to move to Manchester later this year, we were defnitely interested in one of them - Karen loved the idea. Much better than Macclesfield !

Now though, the new job is likely to take me to Bristol instead by about March of next year, so it's cider and crisps at Hibster's instead :evil4:

Nice. Now I just need to find a position with a software company in Manchester so I can justify buying one.

Macclesfield isn't that bad! I'm thinking of moving again soon, and it was one of the areas I was considering...

Bloody hell - a bit flash, and so far out of my price range it's depressing. Recall walking past the site en route to Dukes prior to the Old Trafford bash last year and feeling a bit pissed off that the old place was being used as a marketing tool.

(Apologies - again - for prolonged absence: I've got a new job in Aberdeen starting in a few weeks, so it seems like the further I move North the further South Scots ex-pats like Shug slink.........also kept my head down so as not to offend Clive - sorry mate, you wuz robbed..............)
