Mmmm... a very interesting little interview that Shimmering. I would have liked at teast a 10 page volume to get my teeth into as this just scraped the surface rats - its good to hear Benjamin is up-to-date with his digital assessments these days (I was beginning to worry he was still programming a Roland TR 505). Shim, given that your 'source' is a stronghold for frustrated closet musos I put it to you that you are most probably a Cubase user with a tendency to trawl the interpipe for as many free plug-ins and drum samples as you can download!?
I've now presumed that this is the case and will grasp the opportunity to query a small matter (provided Liv will not kill me for doing so).
Answer me this:
Jonson J-Station, Behringer V-Amp or Line6 POD.

Bear in mind the V-Amp is only £119 respelndant with carry case, adapter and footpedal!!)

Cubasis is a great bit of kit Shimmering like a beacon of hope in a muddy dark world of lost souls Ian baby. I did but purchase that product for my father last Chrimbo and was egg-stremely surprised by the sheer volume of excellence achieved with such an obviously minor product. Rest assured Slight one, the full Cubase has little to offer the user who does not desire 293,000 tracks in his or her mixing bowl. As long as your version of Qbert can handle Plug-ins your set for life!
If you need any tips ask the Hunts... he's been using Cubase since 1987!!!... and that's a factoid. (in 1987 it was called Pro 24).

Shimmering, I've just had a thought. Why not write a song called 'Eggs in the Basket'? - I mean, no-one has released a song like this have they? - During the middle bit when things get a bit tedious, you could sample children throwing eggs down a hill... maybe, you could put a mic. close to a chickens backside and tape the sound of a fresh egg being layed. Perhaps you might have more luck with a hen... whatever, I think you get my drift.
