Where can I get a bass like Hooky's?

Please help - 40 something bass playing NO/JD fan would like info on Hooky's "Hot" 4 string semi acoustic bass. Hot isn't a brand I'm familiar with, although the Bass Centre (shop) in Manchester reckon they can be made to order for about £2000 (not unreasonable for a new handbuilt guitar!). But, in the meantime, has anyone any idea who "Hot" are? - any address, website, 'phone numbers, brochure details etc gratefully welcomed.

Better still, does anyone have an ex Hooky bass they know of/might want to sell!!?? Thanks.

funny you ask. i was at a monaco show right up in front and i was trying to read what it said on his bass. i was so close to hooky i could reach out and grab his bass from him without putting too much effort into it. i thought the company name was "hoyte", but again i couldn't see it clearly. i couldn't tell you where to buy one though.

There was an article in guitar magazine 11-12 years ago, If I remember correctly they're made by a guy down south called Chris Eccleshaw (assuming you mean the gibbo EB4 copy?)
