Wondering what everyone here makes of KROQ's Inland Invasion III. It got a stellar lineup -- The Cure, Duran Duran, Echo & the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, General Public, Berlin, Flock of Seagulls, Interpol, Violent Femmes....

If only hadn't just paid for those damn bar exams and law school, i'd being flying to La-La land in a heartbeat......but as it is, I am probably going to the Duran Duran show at Webster Hall so long as I score me tickets tomorrow morning....

Just thought I'd see what you all thought....By the way, New Order were reportedly asked to play according to one source -- got this from another website, and do not know if it's true, but it wouldn't surprise me.

The password is FUTURE

It's a 6 hour drive from beautiful Pacific Grove, and most of the acts are dodgy, but I'll be there.

The presale was a joke. Only General Admission tickets came up. I'm gonna wait 'til Saturday to buy, or resort to EBAY.

Here's the full line up for this wacky festival:

The Cure Duran Duran Violent Femmes Echo & the Bunnymen Dashboard Confessional The Psychedelic Furs Hot Hot Heat Bow Wow Wow Interpol General Public Fountains of Wayne Marc Almond Berlin Dramarama

I am flying to LA, staying near Brentwood with friends who are going to the show. Definitely will see The Cure. Would like to see Interpol, Duran2, Marc Almond, Echo, Furs....damn interesting list, most of these bands should be dead. I bet Duran2 will have the best sound after the Cure's.

I may make a NOOL shirt to wear for easy identification.
