I just picked up a mint copy of this for seven quid, despite having the London reissue and vinyl - does anyone else spontaneously buy anything by new order despite alredy having it just cos it graces a place in a s/h record shop? A fool and their money.......

I have so far shown restraint with the London reissues (I have all the Factory original releases). It helps that the covers are shite and the wrong typeset is used. If they ever did them well, then as a completist I would have to bite the bullet.

Your not the only fool with money, i bought a cassette copy of Blue Monday for 10 bucks which is strange since i already have it on vinyl, cd and video.

I confess, I have those "have to buy 'cos it's new order" days too. hmmm.. I have both Unknown Pleasures and Brotherhood as a CD and vinyl.. at least.. ;)

I've got all the JD and New Order albums on Vinyl, CD (Factory), CD (London), CD (Qwest), Cassette (Factory) and quite a few import cassetees and CDs.

The only stuff I've ever collected really - an expensive hobby at times, but at least I get listening enjoyment too...

I'll admit to it...I've done the same...got Get Ready from the UK...then bought it again at my store when it came out...and when I'm at anyplace that sells used stuff, whenever I see any of the order's stuff from Factory, I'll ante up for it as well...but that happens verrrrrrrrry rarely! :nuts:

bought the facd75 in italy on holiday just cos it was in italy even though already had a copy...

got the advance copy of get ready from eil on cd & then the normal version too

but worse case for me has to be between technique (dat, cd, white label vinyl all factory) & substance (limited box cassette, gatefold substance & cd all factory) just had to have those extra versions...
