There you go then...........your last sentence more or less backs up what I said about the Smiths being just the right band that happened to be there just at the right time.......they were the perfect band to have as an antidote to all those vapid synthetic overdressed plastic gonks that were littering the UK pop charts at the time....they served their time and purpose well in so doing, but now....in 2001.....just how relevant is that type of jangly -pop stuff?
