Saw a rerun of the pilot episode of "Cold Feet" on Granada Plus last night. This episode makes entensive use of music by The Other Two. An instrumental version of the "Cold Feet" track off the "Super Highways" album was heavily featured. Does anyone know if this version is available elsewhere ? It's a great track with a lovely melody - easily the best thing on "Super Highways"

I downloaded this album off Audio Galaxy a while back and so do not have the original sleeve notes. Who does the vocals on this album ? Does Gillian do any of the vocals - some of them sound a bit too polished for my liking.

You can download bits from Floyd's server when he's back. Kim Wilde did alot of vocals with Gillian adding to them.

Melanie Williams worked with Sub-Sub, no? Sub-Sub went on to become Doves, but in the meantime Barney did a vocal for them, and Jimi Goodwin played bass on four tracks on Twisted Tenderness. Just one big happy family.

They had tried out Other Two & You tracks with Kim Wilde singing but it didn't work out. Wilde had no involvement with Super Highways.

But she does get a mention in the "Thanks to..." small print on The Other Two And You sleeve notes. She just does TV gardening programmes and the odd 80's revival tour now.

She's touring Australia this month with Human League, Go West and other losers from the 80's. It's called the "Here And Now" tour. I won't be "Here".

That tour gets here for Christmas. It's a fantastic night out (well, if you're in your mid-thirties that is). Unfortunately on the only previous one I've been to, Adam Ant went mad and couldn't fulfill his top billing, so we had to put up with Spandau facking Ballet instead. Or Hadley, Norman and Keeble as they should be called for legal reasons.

I can vouch for that...

I'm afraid I got terribly excited about seeing Kim Wilde and Clare Grogan in the same place at the same time last year!

And Kim really rocked so I'm going to see her again this year (no Clive - she doesn't wear her wellies on stage...!)

Coyne's easily one of the better defenders in Div2 and, sadly, a club like ours in administration ain't gonna keep hold of him for much longer. C'est la vie.

Well, considering he was twice the size of Neon Light a fart would've probably flattened him.

If that's the best Div 2 can offer then I guess the black pearl is in for a rough ride this season...!!!

Yeah how about scanning them and then putting the Jpegs on CDR. Alternatively you could zip the Jpegs up and email them to to me - not sure how hotmail will cope with this.

...the server does STILL EXIST, but I have 2 let it down until Sep.19, 'cause of a warning from the fair-use policy of my provider... ...server's up then from Sep.20 - Oct.3, AFTER THEN it'll be down again, 'cause of moving to NZ & TAS 4 a month, then after coming back, we'll see... ...more 2 read on my thread 'MP3 Upload & Download'... ...the tracks, those Chris means on the server are 'Cold Feet Theme', 'Common As Muck Theme' & 'Making Out Theme'... ...with a li'l patience, they'll be reachable !... :smoking: ...update: 'Making Out Theme' seems 2 be a strange instrumental version of 'Vanishing Point'...
